A condition in which the small size of the preputial opening of the foreskin (specifically the frenar band) prevents the skin from retracting behind the glans.

Preputial Space

The space between the foreskin and the glans.

Preputial Sphincter

Tags:

The natural “drawstring” at the tip of the foreskin.  It's primary function is to keep the foreskin forward of the glans penis. It is comprised of dartos muscle, which is involuntary smooth muscle.

Proximal

Tags:

Nearer or nearest to the center (of the body); opposed to distal.   On the penis, it would typically refer to the base of the penis.

Raphe

Tags:

Pronounced "RAY‐fee." The narrow ridge or seam running the length of the ventral side of the penis, beginning at the frenulum, and extending down the distal side of the penis, through the mid-line of the scrotum, across the perineum, ending at the anus. It generally has a different color than the adjacent skin, and forms a noticeable line on the scrotum.
